A Candidate seeking admission to BE course should be cleared his / her 12th class examination from CBSE or MP Board or any other equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with 45 % marks and 40% markes in 12th class for OBC/ST/SC students. Vide DTE Notification in Academic year 2016-17 admission will be made on the basis of JEE Main Entrance examination conducted by CBSE.

A degree programme in Engineering in the second year (third semester) , a Candidate must have passed the Diploma examination in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology from an Institution recognized by AICTE as per Annexure-1 with minimum marks of 45 percent, or must have passed B.Sc. Degree examination from a university recognized by the university grants commission with a minimum 45 percent marks and have passed 12th examination with mathematics.
AICTE has sanctioned 5 % supernumerary seats of sanctioned intake (510) for those students whose parent income is below 4.5 Lac per annum.
A candidate seeking admission to M.E. / M.Tech. courses should be a Graduate in Engg/Technology with at least 50% marks. Candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh should be graduate with at least 45% marks. Bachelors degree of minimum of four years duration after passing Higher Secondary 12th of (10+2) system or equivalent, should have been obtained from any AICTE approved institution or Indian University or from a foreign University recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the AIU as equivalent thereto.
