Executive Post Graduate Diploma In Management (EPGDM )
SIMS offers the Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (EPGDM) program for people working in different organizations. It is a 15-month management course that provides accelerated learning experience which transforms high potential managers into powerful leaders by obtaining valuable insights from extensive interactions with their counterparts in other organizations on development of management concepts and its applicability in the new global context.
The program will comprise five trimesters each with generally 75 working days. The first three trimesters have an average of seven courses. The program also includes a specially designed Integrative Manager’s Course coupled with a few sessions on situational analysis in the third trimester. The session will be conducted five days a week between 6 pm and 9 pm. The fourth trimester requires students to undergo a three-month internship / project work.
The EPGDM curriculum is designed to develop high potential professionals to achieve their career growth. It also helps in the development of case studies and in identification of research relevant to business and industry. It provides students with skills critical for the dynamic market for emerging times & insights and abilities that give them the flexibility to achieve success in the sector / business of their choice.
The faculty members have distinguished academic achievements in different areas of management and are actively involved in teaching, training, research and consulting. They carry out consultancy assignments to keep in touch with the real life management problems in public and private corporations, financial institutions, government and international agencies. The in-class experience includes extensive interaction between faculty and students, personal communication, presentation skills enhancement and team exercises. In addition, various programs for the continuous growth of students such as a global internship program aimed at bringing leading edge practices and emerging topics are routinely carried out. The program is anchored on faculty research and expertise across various disciplines of management and draws participants from different organizations.
